Persistant & Keepling

A personal assistant I’m building with Codex, with a memory of its own and a little world of project rooms in Keepling.

Productivity level up. Persistant has appeared!

I'm turning staying organised into a game.

In Keepling, every project gets its own room: tasks, notes, focus and time tracking. The idea? As I work on a project, its room grows. Progress I can actually see. [Digitally] touch.

A thriving room next to a barren one? Hopefully, the nudge my brain needs to remember that project I've neglected for months.

    I'm also building the Persistant-core.

A contraction of Personal Assistant, his name is also the French word for persistent. Phase 1 will see him integrate into Codex, Obsidian and Keepling. He keeps track of preferences and corrections between sessions. I’m using my cat’s likeness for his avatar. :3

Student first. Notice, ask, learn from corrections. I can already review proposed lessons and decide what he should retain.

The bigger dream? A companion that learns, remembers and follows me across my digital life. My PC, watch, home… Think Cortana in Halo or the PCs in Chobits... or maybe more like Rotom in Pokémon?

So far, Keepling's rooms and productivity tools work. Room growth, automatic lesson recording, voice and cross-device presence are still ahead.

For now, it's a prototype with a cat.

Persistant’s workspace: pick up the thread, carry context, review lessons.
